When I saw what AGonzo & Ginn did to the UT pass D in Austin with crossing routes & running across the field I thought that Tx Tech would be even more of a poss upset then I did @ the start of the season.

That's what happens when you're defensive team is filled with banged ups and back ups. They were still able to win like this on the road - which is the most important thing. This D needs to heal and get better - the only thing saving them is that they give up nothing on the ground.
No matter how pathetic texas' secondary is, no matter how unstoppable Tech's passing game is when they're hot, no matter how many yards they gained through the air, all of you ignore the underlying fact, the crucial game influencing fact that Tech did not practice at a run down Train Station 12 miles outside of Lubbock, and therefore were destined to lose to UT from the start.

its easy to see why tech lost that game...they cannot run the football. thats why tech loses many games when they get up by large margins. now, OSU has a running game to go with a passing game and it should be a good one in Austin, TX. though i like t.u. to win a really tight contest...
Tech had a lot more success against A&M in first half also, they they shut them down in 2nd half , except for that last drive where they won the game.
I don't know, Okie light has an improving team and Reid is playing very well at QB. But, I just have the feeling UT finally gets home after back-to-back tough road games and opens up on these guys. I don't think it will get crazy or anything, but I look for UT to come out and really control this game. It should also be a great home crowd for a night game with cool temps, I'll get back to this thread with a score prediction later in the week. I know you guys can hardly wait!
