Cruise

Anyone here been on a cruise before? I'm heading out for a 7 day the week of Thanksgiving and I've heard a lot of different advice about going on one. Any pointers, besides don't get drunk and fall of the edge (that's going to be the hardest thing to avoid).

Oh, and can I do the anic king of the world thing, or do they block off the railing? If I can do it, is there a line of people just waiting to do it?
