Screamin A. Smith picks the Spurs to win the finals.
What's going on?
but he was showing his Heat homerism as usual
Really, it was Rasho Nesterovic he hated (for stealing his wife).
what did he exactly say?
No he didn't. I saw him this morning on Sportscenter. He said if Amare is healthy, he picks the Suns to win it all this year and to win 2 more in the next 5. If not, he said he predicted Dallas to win it all.
As usual, he's flip-flopping. Not that it matters what he thinks anyways...
We'll on ESPN hot seat, he said the Spurs will Beat Miami. It's a pretty good bet that Amare won't be healthy
I've seen him pick five different teams now. Spurs, Mavs, Suns, Cavs and Heat.![]()
I used to get so annoyed by Stephen A. Smith, then I started downloading his podcast from ESPN radio and I have come to respect him. I think he's a good guy and comes clean. He admits he's a New York homer, but still he seems to give respect to the respectable and does a great job at filling his role as an East Coast homer. Hey, he's from and works in the largest media market.
So while I wouldn't do back flips over the guy, I think he's a'ight.
Maybe hasn't frozen over, Maybe is just covering his ass
Stephen A. loves NY, Philly, Shaq, the Lakers...... AI..... hmm.... there's more just can't think of it. Basically, he's full of it. Just a loud mouth.
How did any of you understand what he was saying?

But what has Sir Charles said ?
Charles is backing the black and silver again
The Spurs are ed if Stephen A picked them.
SAS is always saying the same thing i want to be in Southbeach for the finals, citing all the nightlife, this guy is like 40 years old and he tries to come off like some college kid on Spring Break.
SAS is a complete joke with zero credability.
I actually like SAS on Quite Frankly. He has great guests and is a good interviewer in that format. I just don't like his personna when he's being an "analyst".
I like Quite Frankly. He's had some really good guests come through there. He is not afraid to ask questions that a lot of other media types are afraid to ask.
Well that's one way to say you picked the winner when the finals roll around.
I saw him on Quite Frankly last night and thought he was fairly direct in picking the Spurs to win the whole thing. He was asked if the Suns will win this year in a different context and said that he thought they'd win 2 of the next 5, but didn't say that he thought they'd win one this season.
