Johnny Ludden: Parker to start against Mavericks
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Tony Parker will start the team's season-opening game against Dallas tonight.
Parker had been questionable to play after spraining his right ankle in practice on Monday.
"He wants to play, so I'm going to let him play," Popovich said after the team's shootaround this morning. "If I don't think he's as well as he thinks he is, then I'll just pull him. But he wants to go, so we'll let him go."

So its going to be an even match after all. No excuses from either side.
damn, now we can't use this as an excuse if we lose ...
And I get to watch the game too!
Hope Beno is taking notes.
In other news, Mark Cuban has decided to bump the the banner raising back another two games.
"I figured Beno wouldn't hurt too bad, so our fans would forget all about it come Golden State. We could celebrate with no ifs, ans, or buts. But now that Parker is playing," he resigned, "I don't know. We might need a few games to recover from that."
Awesome, hope he's healthy enough to run circles around Allas tonight...
holy fricking sh!t, I got chills up the spine, butterlies in the gut, Game7 deja vu all over again.
Go SPURS Go

I think you need to see a doctor...that sounds bad to me.
