I thought the no call on the "uncatchable ball" was a bad one -- if that's the rule, then a safety should be permitted to go make contact with a receiver and push him off course enough to make the ball appear uncatchable, thereby immunizing himself from a p.i. call. If it wasn't p.i., it should have been illegal contact.
I don't think, though, that a call or non-call in that situation had any effect on the outcome of the game. It's weak to blame officiating for the outcome of a game. Tech had its chances and didn't capitalize. That's on the Red Raiders, not on the officials.
