How many sausages did you eat?
Just got back from Wurstfest in New Braunsfels. Took the whole family. What a in party! Tons of Beer, food, and live music. Also plenty of rides for the kiddies. For those of you who have never been, it's well worth the trip from San Antonio.
The party goes on until November 12th. I'm thinking about going back next weekend. I highly recommend it for those of you who are looking for a festive party.![]()

How many sausages did you eat?
I don't know what it is but the cheapest beer was $17 a pitcher!
Do you honestly think I'm able to remember that much?![]()
I remember having a Brat w/onions, peppers, and sour krout. I also remember the sausage-ka-bob. 5 different kinds of sausages on a stick. Everything else is just a blur at this point.![]()
That was the only bad part. The beer was definitely a bit pricey. I suggest having a few stiff drinks before heading down there.
did you conquer the boot?
"cheapest beer was $17 a pitcher!"
obviously a crowd control/life-saving/litigation-avoidance tactic.
Musta missed that one. What exactly is "conquering the boot" about?
I love a great sausage fest!!! And I'd love to have a few stiff ones!!
at least it's quality beer, not miller e or buttwiper.
: Turn it! Turn it!!
That IS the price for the miller e and buttwiper. The premium beers (Spaten, Warsteiner, Paulander) at $6 each and somewhere between $22-$25 a pticher.
For those of you going in the next couple of days, there is a buy-one-get-one free coupon for admission on the Wurstfest website. The coupon is good until the 8th. But definitely a good time to be had out there.
doh, i haven't been the last 5-6 years. guess they hiked the prices.
