The Spurs don't have any interior defense. Haven't you heard?
Allowing 45% from the field, including a high percentage of them in the paint, needs to change fairly soon.
The Spurs are outscoring their opponents and they finish games very well, but they may run out of good fortune if they don't shore-up the interior.
All of the Spurs Bigs need to move quicker and get solid in there, Timmy included.

on some nights we get outrebounded, that needs to be stop, and the blocks has been bad this season......still too early in the season, give it till end of the month when fran+orb knows the sys more.
i wanan see flight white + butler get some minutes, thats if finley+horry doesnt pull there heads out and start playin or we can just save them after allstar break.
The crappy Knicks, with no big man, got 56 pts in the paint, vs. our 40.
Defense is hard work, and Spurs aren't into hard work, yet. Pop doesn't seem to show much concern.
I think spurs can get stops when they need them, though.
I have to agree on this one
Oddly enough, I think the Spurs' best defensive big has been Oberto. Duncan has been lazy to react a couple times and Elson is still learning the system. But Solid D is right, the Spurs need to get that number to around 40-41% ideally.
duncan is still avg 1.5bpg![]()
Huh, i always thought you people liked better more scoring at a cost of some loses.
Nah, we want D-Fense! =p
Defense wins games.
Huh i thought you people thought dunks win games?
maybe MR DUNCAN NEEDS MORE BLOCKS![]()
