I'm going to say Tony's season high will be 47.

With these kinds of early season stats, I'm pretty sure TP will have at least one high scoring game this season to raise his career record for points in a contest (currently 38, set last season)
If you were to predict how many points Parker will put up in his best regular season game (whose highlights will undoubtedly be featured on the Spurs 06-07 championship DVD), how many would it be? I'm guessing 50-something, perhaps 53 points, including overtime, against Dallas.
I'm going to say Tony's season high will be 47.
nice. and on the same note, Brent Barry will lead the league in 3 point shooting percentage with something around 50% and Timmy will be cemented as one of the best passing bigs in history (creating I think 4 top 5 3pt percentage shooters over his years here -- Steve Smith, Hedo, Bruce and Barry right?).
Fitty, on the dot.
I think anytime Tony reaches 40, the game would be so much in control, that he would be on the bench.......So, I'm guessing around 42.
I say he goes for 51 in a game....of course the very next day Kobe goes for 82...
I'll say 46
Idk, Tony's game is starting to look like Manu's of 2005-06 where he can shoot or drive at will, remember the 48 Manu dropped against Phoenix that year?
Manu's 48 points was such a fluke. He was on fire from the perimeter that day. The only way Tony is getting 50+ points is if it goes into double ovetime again, and by some miracle he hits 5 or 6 three pointers. I think his season high could be between 40 and 45.
37 (if Duncan is healthy)
47 (If Duncan is out at some point)
100 lol
That will decide KB to stop his career
Hollinger approach :
Asumptions :
- Tony follow a progression
- You can't score an infinite number of point. An asymptote exist. We can represent TP progression with a logarithmic function.
- The point/minutes evolution is the best estimation
- Tony will play 44 minutes in his best night. So it will not be at the end of regular season but somewhere between game 50 and 60 let say 55.
After 6 games this give us an expected maximum of 49 points.
Just add the "Hollinger Magic" (dispersion coefficient) to make the result fit with your expectations

40
42...maybe
I can't see him with 40+ points with Tim and Manu playing at the same time, exept if there will be 3rd overtime or something.
I'll go with 12. A twelve piece bucket of chicken sounds about right.
Or maybe 34 if wings are his preference
He might reach the 20s once or twice at the start of the season, then he wont get over 15 for the rest
