As we speak, he's leading the Rockheads in scoring at the beginning of the fourth quarter, with 11.

He didn't score 11 for the Spurs all last year combined.

Of course, the reason for that is that Tyronn Lue really, really sucks.

Reece Gains is a talented young PG.

Why he hasnt taken charge of that job, is BEYOND me.

The Kings will absolutely have to upgrade at point guard if they plan to make any noise in the playoffs.

The Kings, Brodels? They have Bibby and Bobby Jackson.

I think it was Steve Kerr who said Houston had Ward start because Sura was hurt. That gave me the impression that Van Gundy plans to start Sura at the one.

So that means the Spurs 2nd AND 3rd string PGs from last year are now starting (Charlotte and Houston). And we all thought the Spurs had nobody to back up Parker.

In reality, this, among other reasons is why I can't believe that so many people actually think Houston could be among the championship contenders this year.

Charlie did drop a nice little teardrop over BWallace last night. I couldn't help but say, "Playing with Tony has really paid off for this old-timer."

The Rockets are going nowhere with Sura, Ward, and Lue at the one. Maybe once Sura comes back they can package him up with Taylor or Howard and a pick to get a young, promising pg. A Barbosa type player (not that Phoenix would let him go). They're going to need to do something, because their pacing really looked horrible last night. And how hard is it to throw a little lob to the big fella? They're going to have trouble making the playoffs if Sura doesn't pan out or they don't make some kind of move.

Ward seems to fare well for Van Gundy.

    I don't like T-Mac in that defensive, slowed-down system.

Tyronne Lue should start at the point for that team.

Ming need sto show me more this season, in his third year.

    Gimme Amare Stoudamire over Ming.

Jesus, at least the Spurs run when they get the chance.

I can't believe Juwan Howard had to WAIT for Lue and TMac to trot up the court after he got a steal and ran the break. I thought it was Fratello's Cavs out there.

they're probably in a slump not much unlike our own annual 20 game slide, but they'll pull through, T-Mac has way to many weapons now to not get well into the playoffs, at least the semifinals

hmmm, can you imagine how the Rockets would be, if next year they had acquired Tony Parker through FA? I don't know anything about their cap space or anything, but a team of Yao, McGrady, and Parker could've been a contender.

    Just a crazy thought...

No, they really aren't that good. Houston was a marginal playoff team last year, and traded away three starters for players from the worst team in the NBA. All of whom are marginal defensive players at best, I might add. Not good on a defensively oriented team.
