L.T. is gonna make them look like comes sunday.
Alright Broncos fans, looks like we are going to have a fun one on our hands come Sunday night.
How do you all feel going into this game after barely getting by Oakland? I think the Chargers have the momentum and confidence on their side going into this one. With Merriman and Castillo out, the pash rush won't be as great as it usually is, but the run D is still solid. I'm a bit worried about the secondary after seeing Carson Palmer pick them apart, but Plummer is no Palmer. If Oakland can put up 13 on you guys, I expect the Chargers to put up at least 30. Think you guys can keep up?

Care to move out of San Diego and make room for some real fans?
You may score 30 points but Denver will score 42. The SD defence is just bad with out Roids boy. But how will the Chargers get to 30? LT2 does not run against the Broncos and history has proven it. Last year 39 yards for the game. Rivers is 0-2 (Baltimore and Kansas City) in a tough game on the road.
If this game was at San Diego I would think different but in Denver no way San Diego wins the game
Whatever way it goes (I like watching both teams), I just hope it's entertaining.
NBC has pretty much gone nuts in better matchups than MNF. This flex scheduling rocks.
Since when has Denver been able to put up 42
If being down 21 at halftime to Cincy yet still winning the game isn't tough, I have a vagina.Rivers is 0-2 (Baltimore and Kansas City) in a tough game on the road.
I love how people are fooled into thinking that without Shawne Merriman the defense is nothing. Foolish I tell you, foolish.
Where'd all the Donks fans disappear too?
Truth?
Katy?
JohnSmith?
Slinky?
Stretch?
Lets get some input!
Broncos 27 - 21....
The Broncos defense has always been able to do a decent job on LT. I don't see this season being any different considering our defense is as good as ever. If you think Merriman sitting at home eating some steroids isn't going to affect the game, you don't know about football. The Broncos go from having to gameplan around ONE player, to being able to just go with their straight offense. And Shanahan has shown that he can open up his offense and put up points when need be (vs Colts and Pitt).
Philip Rivers coming back against that weak ass Bengals defense doesn't do anything for me. The Bengals couldn't have stopped the ing West Virginia offense last weekend.
I can't wait until Javon Walker puts up 150 total yards on Sunday. Thats a guarantee my friends. That Chargers secondary is worse than my high school alma matters. Quentin Jammer is gonna have Javon going by him all day long.
LT last season against the BRONCOS
Game 1
09/18 @DEN L 17-20 Yes 19 52 2.7 16 2
Game 2

The L stands for loss on both stat lines..
LT against the BRONCOS IN '04
09/26 @DEN L 13-23 Yes 22 60 2.7 16 0
12/05 DEN W 20-17 Yes 30 113 3.8 15 2

LT against the BRONCOS in '03
09/14 Denver L 13-37 Yes 16 93 5.8 23 0
11/16 @Denver L 8-37 Yes 8 29 3.6 16 0
Once again, those L's stand for loss.
Here are some numbers.............see if you can figure them out.
Denver 9 331 36.8 206 62.2 2036 226.2 6 8 22 129
Cincinnati 9 305 33.9 185 60.7 2040 226.7 13 9 20 126
I'll give you a hint..................
These are the stats from the two worst passing defenses in the AFC.
So if the Chargers are worse than your high school, as you state, what does that make the Denver secondary? Also take into consideration that Rivers is playing at a much higher level than Plummer.
I'm sorry, but Denver just doesn't have the defense to keep up with the Chargers. And you want to talk about the game vs. Cincy. How bout we discuss the egg you laid in Oakland.
All that statistical crap you put up there means nothing.
The number one defense in the NFL in points allowed: Denver Broncos
L. Tomlinson has never ran for 100 yards against a Denver Defense.
You allow fewer points, ya don't have to score 40 to win. (SD vs Cincy)
Out.
EXACTLY. STATS MEAN NOTHING.
SD will prevail.
stats. Yet you bring them up??????????????????
the Broncos (for johnsmith since he ain't here)
I didn't say stats mean nothing, I said the CRAP you put up there means nothing. BTW "great reply"!![]()
I am sure there are facilities in your area that will help you with your overzealous aggression. Please, have someone that cares about you nearby Sunday night when the Chargers LOSE.
Goodfellas
The "CRAP"??? As in the Broncos are the second worst pass defense in the AFC. How does this mean nothing? TheTruth was talking on the Chargers pass defense, yet the Broncos have a worse pass defense. Does that make any sense to you when the Chargers QB has outperformed the Broncos QB in every aspect?
We'll see who's secondary looks worse come Sunday night.
if the chargers juice up i got em winning....
if they dont ill take denver
The Broncos game by game passing defense totals. The only teams to put up big numbers were the Patriots (when the Broncos went into a prevent defense when they got up by 17), the Colts (who kicked the secondaries asses all over the field), and the Steelers (who were down by 14 the entire game, and had to pass).
yards td sacks
St. Louis 34/18/0 195 0 3
kansas city 23/17/0 131 0 1
new england 55/31/0 320 1 0
baltimore 34/20/3 154 0 2
oakland 26/13/1 159 0 4
cleveland 33/19/1 131 1 5
indy 39/32/0 345 3 0
pittsburgh 54/38/3 403 1 4
oakland 33/18/0 198 0 3
why are we even arguing with Charger fans? What the have they won or done in the last 15 years? They've only beat the Broncos once in the last 5. There best player is out because he's juiced on roids. LT gets shut down everytime he plays in Denver. They have the worst big game coach in the history of the NFL.
Jesus, usually Champ has to cover the other teams best WR, but I don't know how the Broncos are going to decide between Sammie Parker and Keenan Mccardell. Jesus, Champ better bring his "A" game with those two studs.
The Chargers haven't won in Denver since 1999, so history isn't on their side.
Obviously, whoever has the best running attack will win this game. It's the strength for both teams offensively. Both teams are decent at containing it defensively as well.
I don't expect to see a lot of conservative playcalling since there's a lot at stake in this one. I think the Chargers might have learned their lesson after playing this way in their loss to Baltimore.
Actually, its Eric Parker. He only led the league with a 70% catch rate last year. And Champ is great and all, but is he going to be covering Antonio Gates?
This is Marty's Superbowl game this season. He HAS to win. I also expect to see a wide open playbook.
Be scared Broncos fans, be very scared.
here's a fun fact, SD is 7 - 0 against teams with losing records, 0 - 2 vs. teams with winning records. Can they finally beat a good team?
