I feel bad for him.

DENVER (Ticker) - Kenyon Martin's season is over.
The Denver Nuggets' high-priced and oft-injured forward underwent season-ending surgery on his right knee, the team announced Wednesday.
Martin underwent arthroscopic surgery that revealed more significant damage than was indicated on an earlier MRI.
Martin collected 19 points and 20 rebounds in the first two games of the season, but swelling in the right knee forced him to miss last Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks.
Acquired from the New Jersey Nets for three first-round picks and signed to a seven-year, $90 million contract in July 2004, Martin underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee after averaging 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in his first season with the Nuggets.
Last season, Martin was limited to 56 games due to soreness in the left knee and averaged 12.9 points and 6.3 rebounds.
Martin was especially hobbled in the Nuggets' first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 4.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in the first two games before being suspended by coach George Karl for conduct detrimental to the team. Martin was unhappy with his playing time and drew the ire of Karl when he put a towel over his head and remained on the bench during timeouts.
The top overall pick in the 2000 draft, Martin spent his first four seasons with the Nets. He played in the 2002 and 2003 NBA Finals and 2004 All-Star Game with New Jersey.
Damn, that's messed up. First it's Nene last season and now Martin this season.![]()
Damn is this the same surgeon that performed the operation on Miles. This article is practically a carbon copy of that situation. Sucks for Nugget fans, because unlike Miles with the Blazers, a hurt Kenyon hurts the team.
Damn, I still can't believe they gave up 3 first round picks for such a slightly above average talent.
Couldn't happen to a bigger sack of .
Screw you Kenyon!

I truly hate Kenyon Martin ; after the 2002 Finals , he openly criticized Van Horn because he "didn't bring it" ; Kmart had just one good game against the Lakers (game 4), so he thought he was good enough to open his mouth
I was happy to see Duncan schooling him during the 2003 Finals
No doubt! Dumb Ass Yellow Boy is one of my least favorite players in the league.
Really?
LOLZ I guess.
I've never liked him but it's always sad for a player to have that kind of injuries.
Denver is cursed.
With all these injuries, maybe nba should stop to have seasons with 110 games for the best teams. A 82 games regular season brings nothing more sport-wise than a 60 games regular season.
He is a tall rich peice of .![]()
And that is why I never include him in my fantasy rosters.
We all know the Nuggets won't ever be healthy and thats part of the fun cheering for them coz they are never at full strength but still manage to make the playoffs. Thats unlike some other teams that dont get there coz they are 'banged up'
If you can't win when your 'banged up' then your team is not deep enough.
