    Some things I've noticed :

    - Spurs are a very good defensive rebounding team : they are the fourth best team in defensive rebounding % (79.4%)

    - Spurs are a very weak offensive rebounding team : they are the sixth worst team in offensive rebounding % (23.6%)

Thre reason why spurs are a quite good rebounding team this year :

    - Elson and Oberto do a great job on the board. Elson + Oberto : 12.1 rbds in 38.6 min while last year, Rasho + Nazr : 9.1 rbds in 36.3 min.

    - Horry is doing a better job than last year.

    - Manu is great and bring some rebounding from the wing (a thing Spurs really need). He averages 5.1 rbds in 31min.

Many times the Spurs sacrifice offensive boards for the sake of getting back on D. I wonder if they've experimented with sending one or two guys to crash the offensive boards while everyone else gets back. They probably have the team speed this year to try it.
