This is gonna be an interesting matchup... Boozer vs. Duncan and Williams vs. Parker. I hope Kirilenko would still be sidelined
Jazz, Spurs on collision course
Associated Press
It shapes up as a late-November treat: the San Antonio Spurs at the Utah Jazz, coming next week.
The Spurs haven't lost on the road. The Jazz are nearly perfect no matter where they play.
San Antonio improved to 6-0 away from home Monday night with a 107-98 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Tim Duncan scored 13 of his 25 points in the third quarter and Manu Ginobili had 18 of his 25 in the fourth.
The Spurs completed a tough back-to-back out West after beating Sacramento on Sunday night.
"We are really playing better on the road than at home," Ginobili said. "We have a better mentality. We grind games out for 48 minutes."
The Spurs return home for games against Miami and archrival Dallas before a three-game trip that ends with a visit to Salt Lake City on Nov. 29.
The Jazz won again Monday, rallying past the Toronto Raptors 101-96 for their 10th victory in 11 games and the best start in franchise history.
Carlos Boozer scored a season-high 35 points on his 25th birthday for the Jazz, 6-0 at the Delta Center.
"We're having fun. I think you could see that out there in the fourth quarter with the fans going crazy," said Boozer, who made 14 of 16 field goals and grabbed nine rebounds.

I don't, we need AK to play..him being out won't really prove anything by beating them.
Boozer is only 25? Damn, that bodes well for the Jazz, though I still think they're being overhyped right now. This article is a testament to that hype, because they barely mentioned the Dallas rematch...a normal "headline" game.
What a stupid thing to say...
Dallas are only 6-4 thats why
Jazz are 10-1 while the spurs are like 8-2. Thats why it is mentioned.
And you think that the Jazz are superior to the Mavs? I'd still take the Mavs in that bet. And the reason you stated for it being written about is exactly my point...the newfound hype surrounded by the 10-1 Jazz. I don't doubt the Jazz are decent, playoff-level compe ion even, but they're not worthy of this hype.
I'll be looking forward to the Mavs game alot more than this one.
bbookie:
As the Spurs @ Jazz game starts, what will be their records be?
Each team has 4 games between now and then.
===========
Spurs 8 - 2 play:
Heat
Mavs
@Sonics
@Warriors
===========
Jazz 10 - 1 play:
@Kings
Lakers
@Warriors (Warriors also on 2nd of B2B)
Magic (Orlando on 2nd of B2B)
=============
12-2 Spurs @ 14-1 Jazz ??
That would pit Jazz' 10W streak against Spurs 7W streak.

The Mavs game will be much more important than the Jazz game. Mavs have found their footing again after that start. If we lose to them at home, they'll have all their confidence back.
All I know if I get to watch the Mavs game so thats the one I'm really looking forward to![]()
Did Oberto and Okur ever go head-to-head in Europe?
Geez, Boozer is only 25 yr-old? I think he looks much older than that.
I am actually looking forward to this one. Of course, I still hate the Jazz from the rival Malone/Stockton days. But they are looking good so far this year, should be a good one.
