I70 from Grand Junction to Salina is one of the most beautiful scenic drives anywhere in the world, especially in the afternoon going east. Done it twice and I'll do it again one day soon...

My fiance and I will be leaving this Sunday, Nov. 26 for my birthday. I have never been and he hasn't been since he was a kid. We will be staying at a ski resort just outside of Vail and I want to know where I can get the best deals on skiing or lift tickets and even beginner classes. Also, we will have a rent a car so if anyone could offer tips of places to go and see that would be a plus!! Please fill me in with as much info as possible!!!
