It was a waste - I tried since I was here at work and it was pointless ... at about 12:50pm our time, their servers were unavailable basically. Even Amazon.com itself was dead, it was crazy ... I've never seen it go down like that.
I just saw that Amazon had 1000 Xbox 360s for sale yesterday for $100. They were all gone in about 30 seconds, but I wish I'd have known so I could have at least tried to get one.

Yeah, I read that they sold out in thirty seconds and a lot of Amazon customers were angry about the way it was handled.
I think it was pretty ty ... they should have registered who voted, and then did random drawings and sent people an email. Heck, I would have bought a 360core for $200 and they could have offered 5,000 of em.
Ya. I was rather pissed that their servers totally went down. They went out about 1:50-1:55 and didn't come back on until probably 2:15.
