What size is the TV?
Anyone know where I would be able to find decent TV stands?
I've already checked out these places
Circuit City
Best Buy
Target
I haven't looked at Wal-Mart, but they usually have crap for furniture.
Any other ideas?
walmart actually has some pretty cool tv stands, especially for a 42"
Manny needs one for a hand held tv though!
Conn's has some good ones.
I got one there for under my Sony.
You are looking for furniture and haven't been to a furniture store?
I'm looking for a TV/Media stand, not a sofa or a bedroom set. Furniture stores rarely have good media furniture and when they do is usually extremely expensive.
42 inches diaganol, 40 inches wide.
usually those big brand stores that sell tvs/plazmas lcds....usually have good stands...should ask them who sells them that .
my mum spent 1k on our plasma stand....you want design, you pay what you get...
I actually got my TV stand from Wal-Mart last year. It's nice, it's black with two shelves on it and room for a TV on top. It's not that big since it's for the TV in my room. But, Walmart has some decent "little" furniture like that...
ikea.
I looked at some of the stuff on Wal-Mart's site and found stuff I actually dug
This is my favorite so far but its out of stock in San Antonio.
Oops, forgot the link:

Seconded on the ikea suggestion. I got a good one there for $99, and they have a lot of choices.
Nevermind the components all turned around, I was rewiring. That's a 42" on top to give you an idea of the size.
Yeah, Ikea, a furniture store, great idea!
I think we have the same stand. I assembled mine myself.![]()
I went by Conns this afternoon and they had a good simple one that I liked. Thanks for the suggestion Tpark. They actually had a lot that I liked.
Ikea has nice stuff, but there isn't one in town and I don't like ordering furniture online because I want to see it first.
FWIW, I picked up the black Zline stand that Circuit City has, it looks sweet if your TV is silver or black.
Yeah, that's the worst part of it. I'm planning on heading to the Round Rock one this weekend.
I wasn't aware there was one in RR. I thought the closest one was in Houston. Thats good to know.
Is the RR one open yet? The website doesn't say it is.
Oops, my bad, yes it does.![]()
You can just put your tv on top of box until the IKEA opens in San Antonio (March?)![]()
