He is saying that Beno's development got held back last year because they played NVE so much and that they need to give him playing time this year and the green light so that he can get his confidence.
They are talking about Beno shooting a lot this season. And Pop is saying that he is supposed to shoot a lot because he's a good shooter.

Now they are talking about Elson.
Pop is saying that he's going to get as many minutes as he deserves.
He's currently playing confused and too fast. He's going through that process right now and that he's a good athlete and offensive player. But needs to slow down and figure things out etc.
Now they are talking about Brent Barry's turnaround this season.
Pop said almost getting traded scared him to death because Brent doesn't want that. And that it made him focused on what the Spurs want from him and his aggressiveness.
The more aggressive he is, the more minutes he's going to get.
Now they are just talking about the game coming up against Sac and how Tony played Bibby really well last time and that's the focus.
I missed the first few minutes of the show if someone else wants to fill in what was said.
Pop is saying the Spurs shooting needs to improve. He thinks that the defense is on track. And he's a little concerned with the boards ... that they need to get a better focus on rebounding as a team, etc.

Thanks for the update, Kori.
Yeah our 6-0 record and punking of Dallas when he gets minutes is confusing and too fast.
I'm taking Pops quotes and spreading them on my lawn for superb future growth. As long as Pop keeps giving these *aggressive* quotes i will keep placing them in a place they deserve.
But thanks for the update Kori.
Seriously.
Beno this season;
FG% .367 vs Spurs .448
3G% .273 vs Spurs .377
So he has long way to go.
Beno doesn't have the game and the spurs are hoping he gets hot so they can trade him.
That was a really good Pop show. I think that had a record number of straight answers from Pop.
I also liked his point about how even though they got outrebounded they limited the Jazz to 85 points. That is pretty impressive considering how badly they were outrebounded and the Jazz lead the NBA in FG% as well. So at least the D was there.
Looks like LA destroyed the Jazz tonight though.
The audio is up online.
