Sleeting up here, but I know what you mean. My GF called and told me she's wishing for some snow, too.
My fiance just called and told me its snowing(lightly) on the Southside. Not exactly the White Christmas I'm looking for, but it's something.

Figures ... I'm getting left in the dirt by my neighbors and wanted to put up my Christmas lights and show them how it's done, but I hate doing that when it's so cold (and windy).
Cool, though ... I hope it does enough so my kids get a chance to see it.
Just sleet here but I am not on the Southside... I'd love snow though.
My mom is in Von Ormy and has snow there too.
What is the temperature? The weather plus channel is saying it's in the 40's... it doesn't have to be below 32 for it to snow/sleet? Or is that just for it to stick...
Maybe Manny will know the answer...
Sleeting over here behind the airport....
sleeted for a bit down here on the far southside, but, nothing else.
As close to snow as we san antonians will get![]()
Damn, I thought this thread was going to be a discussion on the dude that sings Informer.![]()
There are panhandlers standing in the middle of San Pedro. WTF?
It's sleet in Seguin.![]()
sleet at 1604 @ 90 also in Med Center area
Snowing near the Methodist Hospital
If it makes a slight noise when it hits the windshield, more than likely it's not snow. It's been sleeting for an hour and a half in the NW corridor of San Antonio.
If it is cold enough in the clouds to make frozen precip. then it can snow or sleet. In the 40's....it won't stick just be cold and miserable......I hate cold weather and snow/ice/sleet.
ing sleet. I always hated that about SA when I was a kid. I would get excited because we were so close to getting snow, and then 99.99% of the time it was goddamn sleet (the one exception was 1985 or 86). All sleet would ever do is make you fall on your ass when you stepped off the porch.
If it snowed this afternoon, I slept through it here near SAC. It can snow when it was above 32, but in the 40s is BEYOND pushing it. I guess people knwo what snow looks like, but I really wonder if most people didn't see light mist and confuse it for snow because with temps in the 40s and as dry as the air was, snow should not have even come close to making it to the ground.
Manny when is the next hurricane going to make landfall
There were flurries here in Corpus about fourty five minutes ago. I think it's in the thirties. Bu tyeah, they were really tiny and coming down pretty slow. And it wasn't mist,.
i got ice, sleet and snow the same day last week.
I have large piles of snow outside my window as I type this.
Of course, I'm in Blackwell, OK.
