I'm not sure about the first one, but you should be able to eliminate Gaps by going to Preferences > Advanced > Burning, and selecting "None" on the dropdown menu by "Gap Between Songs."
I've had iTunes since its conception, and I still haven't figured out how to get the track information to burn to the disc. I also can't figure out how to burn the cd with not stop time between tracks (for cds that are continuous throughout the tracks) Please help!
