looks to me like there was a whole lot more than 40-60 people. Alot more. As in hundreds more.

Whoa. Even if youre close, thats....disconcerting. While nations like Iran theoretically would be run by the young of thier populace, American politics are strictly defined by the over-the-hill. People only concerned with Medicare, Medicade, Social Security and lower taxes for retirees.
And we wonder why this country is what it is. We cowtow to the "soon to be departed" section of our demographic. One foot in the grave, the other on a banana peel and these are the stiffs deciding elections.
