A couple of Matt's friends were sitting next to me tonight, they'd had quite a bit to drink and were pretty loud. They kept yelling for Pop to put Bonner in, yelling 'Red Rocket' and Matt (during a timeout) motioned for them to cut it out. His friend sitting next to me said he was sure this would be the last game they were ever invited to. He mentioned how depressed Bonner was after Kobe scored 81 against the Raptors last year, he said that he didn't talk to anyone for about a week. The newspaper came out the next day and had a picture of Kobe scoring over Bonner and that was the lowest point of his career. They were all very excited though for Matt tonight and it was fun to see him with his own little cheering section.

I don't think Jack is as crazy naturally as all the crazy-ass roles he has played. Although I've thought Jack's roles weren't that far from Jack himself.

I remember Jim Gray? getting a few words from Jack courtside one time, and I was so disappointed that Jack was all smooth-y, sooth-y nothing-words and generic bull rather than being crazy, provocative, offering Jim a huge joint or splitting his head open with an axe.

I know! I've been going through withdrawals, I haven't been to a game since I was in San Antonio in October.

I was surprised when I saw that too, I think he did because it was for my nephew. Smart move, we were looking through Anthony's autograph book (my other nephew) and couldn't identify most of the players we'd had sign it.
