Big problems for Rockets. Bonzi is not in the form and Head is not as good as T-Mac.
You knew this was coming. Too bad.
Didn't realize things between Bonzi and JVG had already gotten that bad.

HOUSTON (AP) -- Rockets star Tracy McGrady is out indefinitely with back spasms and was scratched from Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 6-foot-8 forward missed 35 games last season with back problems, and coach Jeff Van Gundy said Tuesday he did not know how long McGrady will be sidelined this time.
Luther Head will make his first start of the season in McGrady's place, Van Gundy said. Head is averaging 9.8 points and is Houston's most accurate 3-point shooter (50.5 percent).
McGrady, a six-time All-Star, hurt his back midway through the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against Washington. He scored 28 points before leaving the court and limping to the locker room.
Van Gundy said Bonzi Wells might play Tuesday night after sitting out the last month. Wells signed a two-year, $5 million contract, but Van Gundy acknowledged Monday the two have "struggled to find common ground" since Wells arrived at training camp.
Van Gundy said Wells would play against the Lakers "if I think it's in the best interest of the team."
"I'm not going to focus a lot of my attention on his situation," Van Gundy said. "If it works, it works, it's going to be great. If it doesn't, it doesn't."

I would love Bonzi on the Spurs.
There have been lots of talk show questions about why Bonzi wasn't playing with the response from the team that he "wasn't in shape or ready yet" which seems a little thin.
But Van Gundy has avoided any verbal public criticism and you have to read between the lines. Something is clearly amiss with their new headcase....er...acquisition.
I almost forgot Bonzi was on this Rockets team. And Sura too.
Wow, I was hoping McGrady could stay healthy this season. I have a feeling his career is going to go in the Grant Hill direction where missing games/seasons will soon become regular. Back problems are the worst![]()
I think it already has. T-Mac only plays half a season, but still is on the cover of NBA Live 07.
almost as bad as manu
Here we go . . .![]()
well, that's TOO BAD for the Rockets. Good for WC teams vying for 1-8th spot in the playoffs.he did not know how long McGrady will be sidelined this time
BTW, it seems the Lakers got no answer to Yao Ming this time. How can they allow 21pts from him at halftime? Whoa![]()

Bonzi in shape and with his head in the game is a very great player. Saw many flashes of brilliance in Portland with him, too bad the negatives outweighed the positives when it was all said and done.
I give manu 20 more games before he misses another 5
ducks, what does Manu have to do with T-Mac?
And you forgot to mention LeBron.
dammit, Lakes dropped the hammer 30-13 in 3rd on Rox like they did to the Spurs.
gameover
oops, Rockets making huge comeback, on -4 pts
I want james to get ai
so he has no more excuses to not get to finals
...And Microsoft/Bill Gates![]()
I posted a article in the club about one powerfully bill gates employ saying he would buy a mac if he was not employed by windows
fearing the pink slip from bill gates
The Lakers are very close to blowing a 27 point 4th quarter lead. 50 something seconds left, LA 96-92, Houston ball.
Damn, I spoke too soon.
here is the link http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55696
. Houston shot a ridiculous 3 and LA's up 98-92 w/ 8.7 left.
Bob Sura is a scrub
Houston dropped a 26-1 run on LA to get it to 2, but then freakin Scott Padgett missed two free throws and Kwame Brown got a garbage tip-in that was over the cylinder.
