How about Hookah Bars? (Not hooker) Anyone been to any of the ones in SA? Are they good?

It's a place where you go and smoke molasses flavored tobaccos through a hookah pipe.



Some of them are also restaurants.

It's become very popular in the United States over the last couple years. I think there's four or five hookah bars in San Antonio.

Hookah and strip clubs, somehow this makes me think of Eyes Wide Shut....

You should probably go to the strip clubs and rate them yourself, that's what any self respecting journalist would do.....

Shisha Cafe on Bab is an excellent hookah bar. We haven't been in a while, but they had good drinks and food and the shisha wasn't too expensive either. There is another one off of Thousand Oaks, but I've never been to that one.

Smoking shisha is pretty damn sweet and if you haven't tried it you should. Its extremely smooth unlike almost every other form of smoking I've ever tried. I agree, I'd rather put some weed in the bowl, but what they use is pretty nice even if it doesn't get you high.

When I used to got out one of the nicer places was The Palace. Good food too. I was never one to go look at ties and eat but a few times we had a company dinner there and I was impressed. Over the years they've also had some of the best looking women in town. With that said I have not been there in a few years.

2nd Shisha's.
I went for a girls night out, didn't do the hooka, but the drinks and atmosphere were great. Had a great time, adn my firend Carrie loved the Hookah... she did some lavender flavored something or other.

I've been to Shisha's on Bab and it's really nice. It was packed the times I went.. they even have tables out on the lawn. It's a cool atmosphere too, I like the calm and mellow places. The hookas are alright... I wouldn't sit there for hours and enjoy it because it'll just make you sick, but those hookas sure last a long time.

Usually just smoke the hookah at a friend's house (helps to have middle eastern friends that know all about the proper way to do the hoohah)
