He is too busy complaining to the refs.
"You were fooled." He's 7th in the NBA in rebounds.
Small ball with Duncan rebounding at an Antoine Carr rate is going to be funny.
In a sick way.
Sure. But at one point during the 1st Quarter, he only had 1 rebound.
Freakin' slacker.
Duncan has nine games with eight rebounds or less. He's averaging 10.2 rebounds.
That's a pretty bad sign considering the Spurs are already a poor rebounding team (against quality compe ion) with Duncan dominating the glass.
Mmmm.... that's a pretty bad sign since Pop will Inevitably go back to small ball during crunch time
Elson is a top 25 per 40 minute rebounder. He and Duncan can be effective. Problem is Spurs are weak at the SF position in rebounding and weak when Horry is in, and weak against dominant rebounding teams.
Last year at this time, Duncan's season-low in rebounds was 9.
its definitely a concern and it needs to be corrected.
its not like we have dennis rodman out there who is snatching them all away from his teammate.
oh , maybe its the ball![]()
Duncan ing sucks! Trade his ass!!
Duncan is fine, its the players around him that need to step it up IMHO.
As long as we get the win comfortably I don't care about stats.
Because of the Spurs overall deficiencies in rebounding as a team, they really cannot afford a dropoff from Tim in this category.
He doesn't rebound and he doesn't step up or rotate to alter shots or menace drivers. He's really coasting along.
He's sorta turned into an AK47 shot blocker. He's slow or late, and then he tries to block the shooter from behind.
Maybe after all the $Ms and all the years, basektball has become boring for him. He's clearly not playing anywhere near an MVP season, or even in contention.
depends on who he is guarding and the other teams offensive plan
....nicely done
if his hands are cut like he said
I would not doubt it is the ball
It seems that when he scores over 20 he rebounds poorly and when he scores less he grabs like 15
I think CBF's point is:
November = 11.2 rpg
December = 8.0 rpg
Duncan is undersized for a PF.
january = 5.0rpg
february = 2.2 rpg
March = 0.2 rpg
April = -1.8 rpg
May = -4.4 rpg
I meant to have some serious inputs here
I have seen duncan come away from an entire game with five freaking rebounds at least 2 or 3 times, and a game or two with only 6 or 7....what the gives?
He should be averaging 15 rebounds per game on this team, what the gives???
