Just saw it on ESPn. Looks like at least midgrade sprain. Some klutz stepped on it as he was walking away and he stretched it pretty good...

I hope that's all it is, for his sake. On replay, Wilcox stretched out on a long rebound and kicked/stepped on it. And it bent a way ankles shouldn't bend. It looked like it could easily be a break.

Was it like Duncan's injury back in Detroit in '05?

If that's all it was he'll be lucky. That looked ugly.

Dirk's ankle ligaments are stretched so far by now that I bet he's playing by the end of the week at the latest.

duncan went for a put-back and landed on (I think) big ben's foot on that one. Also unintentional and completely unavoidable :[

It was clearly an accident. Wilcox was losing his footing.

But, seriously, replay makes that look like a break. It was an ugly thing to see slow motion.

Exactly my thinking. Has he really missed more than a couple of games after the really severe one?

    Just found this out.

Other than his rookie season, Dirk has played at LEAST 75 games a year (and 80+ four times)!

Not quite ironman material, but pretty damn close!
