"The effectiveness that Williams and Redd showed in getting to the basket for layups contributed to Milwaukee having a 76-40 advantage in points in the paint." Bucks were 1-11 on treys.

timvp is there a stat for P in P when Elson-Duncan are in together vs the Small Ball line ups? Bandwidth saver for all: Elson is sometimes out of defensive position. We got it. Now, he is more often in position. Result?

I know Spurs were up 82-70 when Elson got pulled for Fabs.
Certainly not saying that was the only key.
But Points in Paint was, along with their O rebound advantage.

Elson wasn't shuttting anyone down either.

Small ball didn't help, but it wasn't worse.

I know this will twist your nibbletts but Spurs are 13-1 when Frankie Elson plays 20+ minutes.
12-0 before Houston game couple nights ago.

Stats on points in paint with different rotations is what i am asking for.

The Spurs got run over by the Bucks in San Antonio. Its still December so there's plenty of time to get it right, but still pretty ugly and....sorry to be repe ive....but the Spurs are soft now, as they are often this time of year. I still look for them to shore things up defensively by March.
