Soft = Spurs
No. They're too laid back. All the success early in the season has caused them to be lackadasical. Averaging 100 points a game and blowing opponents out over and over and winning games while playing bad defense has gotten into their heads, making them think they don't need to play as hard.
They'll get out of it.

The Spurs have been more or less a soft team for decades and that hasn't stopped you from winning.

soft...maybe. they really don't have that fire in them to kill every opponent once they get them down. that to me is the real problem...they think they can turn "it" off and on at will.

Back in 2005, people were saying the same , after we lost the first game to Denver, after the Sonics won 2 games, after Amare scored 40 a game and Tim missed a ton of free throws, and when Detroit came back 3-3. Well get it through your heads people, the Spurs know when they need to play and they know they ed up. Come playoff time, they will show the killer instinct again.

I don't know if it is so much "soft" as it is lacking a killer instinct.
I've seen the team play some killer defense at times, but the part I don't get is how the Spurs get way ahead, and then lack the killer mentality to put a team away for good.
That is what I would like to see them get.
If you think the Spurs are soft then fine, keep that within yourself and don't go ing with people's quotes just to be a bag.

As for the question, no. I think they're lazy and underestimate the "weaker" teams of the league. And they do lack the personal to play spurs defense. As apposed to back in the day when we did have the people for the job, yet we played to soft.
