Doesn't matter. Theres plenty of wide receivers available. We can still get one with the second overall pick! lol

ideally, they trade down. This team simply needs players, and lots of them.
I think we're gonna get stuck though having to use the pick.
Peterson kinda makes sense as Kevin Jones may not even play next year due to injury. However, that means he's running behind the same weak ass front line that we currently have.
Quinn may be the most ready QB out there, and already plays in a pro style set at Notre Dame. Pocket passer w/ a strong arm, though really needs to work on his accuracy .... but again, the front line will get him killed.
Smith IMO may be a better choice as he'll have that ability to scramble and create for himself after the line collapses. Plus he's a playmaker and a winner, something this team has really needed for a long time.
Isn't Peterson injury prone?
Trading down for more picks is logical since we have so many holes.
Why is it that whenever the Lions need to lose, they win, and when they need to win, they lose. ERS.
"We have a trade. The Detroit Lions trade the second round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft to the Dallas Cowboys for Bobby Carpenter and an autographed copy of 'Little T Learns To Share.'"
I said it in September, Brady Quinn will be a Raider.
Why in the world would any team consider Troy Smith in round 1?
The reason he gets injured is because he carries 30 times a game behind a bad o-line..........okay they shouldn't draft peterson
Please Lions do not draft Peterson... I would hate to see another brilliant career wasted in Detroit.
if Peterson goes to the Lions he has about 5 injury-plagued useless seasons and is forced to retire, but if he goes anywhere else he breaks the all-time rushing record.
thats just how it is Lions fans
