He'll be fired in three years, and Alabama will wonder why they can't get good coaches to come coach there.

Alabama has fired many a coach for not winning enough in their eyes. Saban would have to win the SEC in the next three years or he's out on his ass.

Couldn't happen to a "nicer" school besides Notre Dame. ROLL TIDE, IT'S ROLLING BABY!!!

Heck Bama gave Shula a raise and fired him in the same year.

Stallings was forced out after a MNC and a 62-25 record.

Dubose was fired after having an affair and after he won the 1999 SEC game, and they were 3-3 in 2000.

Saban is true to the line of Bama Coaches:

    There was the Bear
Then there was Perkins (who left after 4 years to coach Tampa Bay)
Then Curry - refused to fly his team to atm when there was a gulf hurricane... that was no where close to the cult of bryant (Gilbert). Happens that his star QB was also hurt at the time. They game was resched for later and Bama whooped atm, with their QB healthy. Curry left Bama for Kentucky.
Then came Stallings - he falsified player eligibility and got Bama put on probation with 4 major counts.
Next was DuBose - he had an affair with his secretary, lost to Kentucky for the 1st time since 1922 and was beaten by La Tech; twice.
Coach Fran was next - he stayed 2 years, saw the team was going on probation and bolted for atm.
Price was next - he never coached a game after the famous stripclub incident.
Shula was hired to be the savior - one of their own beloved. He was given an extension, a raise, and a 200k signing bonus. Now Bama has to pay him over 4 mil in severence monies.
    Saban will fit in nicely.
