    there is no way on earth that we thought oberto was athletic.ive always hated the gy,but ive continued to back him up. nows the time i officially want him gone.play butler. gotta play him sooner or later,especially right now with cisco out

    I think Oberto's expectations are too high on this board. Fabri is far from being the worst player in the league, and I actually like what he brings to the Spurs when he's on. I won't hate on a player just for having a string of bad games, but that's just me I guess.

    The only worthwhile read on this board is Salma. The rest are the continuous ing from all you experts because the Spurs aren't undefeated. Why, even the powerful Mavericks have dared to lose 7 games, and risk losing their following for being normal.

    I agree with this, Butler seriously only plays on garbage time, but with the way Oberto plays and was missing POINT-BLANK layups in the Cavs game what do the Spurs have to lose?

    With the Spurs being a "system" rather than grind-it-out, seat-of-the-pants balla/street basketball, a Maggette probably wouldn't be effective, no matter what is athelicism and muscles, before Nov 07.

    The dance has started, Spurs need to dance with the dancers they have.

    The Spurs don't have a talent/age problem. They have a group head problem.

    If Pop can't get them to play, to buy into his system, then non-leader Tim sure won't, so we could be ed.
