Stick with me and the pain shouldn't last much longer.
My house wreaks of this mulch fire smoke this morning! WTF? I thought they had that thing under control. It's giving me a horrible headache. Does anybody know how much longer this is supposed to last?

Where are you at SC? I'm in Stone Oak and I could smell it this morning as I left for work.
I'm in Stone Oak too. I woke up to the smell. I'm assuming it's compounded because of the thick fog and hoping it will blow out of here soon.
I would imagine that the fog kept it down and with the front blowing in tomorrow it should move it out of our area.
If it's bad over in the Stone Oak area, imagine how those poor folks living in Helotes feel.
And as far as how long...I don't think anyone knows. I thought I heard a news report when it first caught fire that it could "smolder" for months.
I googled "mulch fire helotes texas" and hit on this. This is pretty much what I remembered hearing when the fire first broke out.
Stubborn Fire
spurschick, Sunshine: I've got an extra room at my place on the other side of the fire if you need a place to stay.
1369: Sorry, brotha.
Oh sure, pick the cute blonde over the bald guy?
Racist.
I don't live far from Helotes and I don't smell it that badly, but the wind hasn't picked up. My neighborhood goes to O'Connor, so I feel for the kids here that are in school since it's right behind O'C.
Aren't you sweet! Can I bring my boyfriend and 9 kids???
j/k
Damn! It does stink out there today. Left Stone Oak to hit the gym by Thousand Oaks and it smells bad there also.
I left from the Encino Park area this morning and didn't smell anything.
if you can't be part of the solution, be part of the problem.
