Devin Brown is still better than anyone on Spurs bench not named Barry this year under 6'10 on offense, and more importantly, better than anyone coming off the bench on defense.

Sad he parted the way he did.

Keep it up, Devin. And if you get a contract, don't stop keeping it up.

Sure beats the $$ you made playing San Antonio city leagues, huh?
    Learned your lesson?

And good luck with the back cramps.

Anyone think D-Brown could have been more of a regular, significant contributor had the Spurs held onto him - instead of signing Finley?

So we will have a new thread each time Devin has a decent game ?
FYI, Devin has scored his points and grab his rebounds during the garbage time He has done nothing in the first half when the game was still close.
And the game before he was 1/10 from the field....

If Devin Brown had not totally wrecked his back late in 05 who knows how things would have worked out.

For him to actually take most of Barry's minutes that season and even be one of their best performers was amazing.

Devin averages more rebounds than Michael Finley, Brent Barry and Beno Udrih combined.

It was such a dumb decision by this franchise not to bring in a physical backcourt player of Devin's ilk. How many soft jumpshooters does one team need?

Michael Finley has had multiple games where he's shot below 10% from the field?

Hence why the Mavericks had NO problem unloading him and getting young fresh legs in his place............
