Run Tony, Run!

Here ya go Cowboys fans.
![]()
I'm not sad, just pissed.
P.S. Giants are going to beat the Eagles tomorrow
I don't. The Cowboys were better this year than last year. Losing always sucks but losing in the playoffs is better than not making the playoffs at all.
You're smoking dope if you believe that.
Yeah...beat them to the golf course.P.S. Giants are going to beat the Eagles tomorrow
I have never smoked a thing in my life. So no.
I hope the Eagle win, because I'd rather play at Chicago than at New Orleans. The Bears are vulnerable.
Holy that's funny.![]()
So will you start smoking cigarettes, weed, crack or pole?
If Giants DEF didn't suck so bad, my statement would be true.
No, only losers do drugs.
So it's pole?
Get over yourself and smoke a bowl.
Their defense sucked before you made that statement. If Giants DEF didn't suck so bad, my statement would be true.
I don't know if anyone has discussed this aspect of the problem.
Why would Jerry Jones not hire a player who's only role were to hold snaps? 50K salary, perhaps? I mean, why risk an injury to your starting quarterback simply because you didn't hire a holder? As soon as Romo was promoted to the starting quarterback position his role as holder should have been relinquished immediately...
You can't hire a guy to hold snaps if your roster is already full.
First of all, you can't pay a player 50K, there is a league minimum and it's around 300k right now, I think more in fact. Furthermore, kickers are a funny bunch, they only prefer certain holders once they get comfortable with them. Look at Detmer in Philly, their kicker was only comfortable with him, so much so that they brought him back. Romo is probably the best holder on that team and not to mention, the kicker was probably comfortable with him holding. Plus the fact that he had done it a 100 times this season and you never saw him screw it up once. It's just one of those things that happens from time to time.
But still... this does not eliminate the fact that the team is risking an injury to its star(ting) quarterback because he also happens to be a holder.
I see what you're saying, but I would bet that not many injuries have occurred from being the holder on place kicks. I don't know that for sure, I'm just assuming as I've never seen it happen in the 20 years that I've been watching pro football.
But you're right, it could happen. It was still a freak thing though that 99 times out of 100 it wouldn't have been a problem. Romo just picked the worst possible time of his career to make it a problem.
