Grizz scored a 100+ points against the Spurs also a few nights ago. I believe they're averaging 104+ the past 6 or so games since Fratallo (Sp?) got fired.
All that smack talk after last game and now your team has given up 46pts (while only scoring 22pts) in 1 qtr to the Grizzlies, ouch

wow! Mike Miller has really enjoyed the change

D is on its way out everywhere
The Grizz only put up 96 on the Spurs.
*You're right. But before that, their prior 5 games:
Against Wiz: 101
Against Raptors: 110
Against Houston: 109
Against Warriors: 144
Against Boston: 119
YES! That's what i'm talking about! When you take the time to make a thread over a lakers loss to a bad team only shows that the Lakers are now respected. It took you guys long enough.![]()
Bad game by the lake show. A big letdown after the Dallas game. Phil benched the starters, kobe included for the entire 4th.
No problem, they can't win them all.
holy , 46 in the first alone? ouch
This is why we lost to the Lakers....post-Spurs game celebration hangover...yeah, that's it!

Yeah Dallas should not party after a big game. Hangovers suck especially if you have to play a game. lol
No, being 3-29 in LA had more to do with it.
yes, i hated that loss because now i will be going to the lakers game on the 18th of january rather than selling the tickets for a good price! i need to recoup some money from the giveaway tix to games like the knicks, hawks, etc.
of course i give credit where it's due, the lakers won legit, they're a good team even without odom/kwame, lots of energy with the young guys
thanks. they just have to get some consistency. they're getting there asses kicked by the weak teams and do well against the best teams.I want to see Odom and Brown come back so we can see how good this team can really be.
yeah but just remember, it's the best teams that you'll meet in the playoffs...i wanna see you guys play the suns when odom/kwame get back, i really enjoyed last year's series and i think it could be better if you met in the playoffs
True, we have to give them a bye with the injuries also. 2 starters out makes a big difference with most teams in the league.
I want Phoenix too! We should have won that series. I blame Phil and the Suns for that loss. Phil for not turning Kobe loose, (like he did when Kobe scored 53 on the Rockets. You could see Phil look over at the Rocket bench and seeing the Rockets celebrating like the game was over in the 3rd quarter. He hopped up and called Kobe off the bench and told him to go off on them) it might not have meant the Lakers would have won but I would have prefered to see them go out like that. The Phoenix media, fans and citizens, whoever was involved for the headlines that Kwame was being investigated and soon to be charged for sexual assault. It totally took Kwame out of the contest when he was playing fantastic. Naturally the charges never materialized. That was, excuse my language, ed UP!
I caught some of that game after I got home from work last night.
I didn't understand Phillatio's logic in benching the starters. It's not like they're jockeying for playoff positioning right now to drop down in order to get a more favorable match-up or anything.
The Grizz almost pissed away a 24 point lead on top of all of that. Lakers got within 12 in only a couple of minutes and it looked like Memphis was going to come from ahead to lose yet another one.
Plus, L.A. allowed 128 points in regulation! So much for the vaunted "triangle".
Very bad loss. No other way to spin it.
Yeah, phil's like that, but I really dont mind it. He just doesnt care much about the regular season. He'll do that from time to time to send a message to his team.
The triangle wont work if players are not making open shots.
But I agree, it was a very bad loss.
::The Laker loss against the Rockets tonight::
Tracy McGrady pulled a Kobe, 8/5/12 assists
Kobe pulled a Kobe, 20/6/1 assist
To his credit, Kobe shot 33% while Tracy only shot 25%, ouch. But hey, winning wipes that stat to shame.
Kobe left the game in the 3rd quarter with a pulled groin. It will be all better by Friday, he said.![]()
Luther Head's dunk on Ronnie Turiaf was sick!
I didn't see the game--just hate missing special events such as that.
Dikembe apparently schooled the young Bynum, and passed Kareem on all-time blocks list. Wasn't it fitting he did it while playing the Lakers? Me theenks so!!!
You should watch the replay on NBA.com
