Lots of minor league coaches have opinions. Charley Rosen was a minor-league coach as well.
Of course, he's right. Pop isn't one of the very best, but he's in the top tier.
"Gregg Popovich, one of the great coaches of all time."
On Jim Rome today, Univ. of North Carolina coach Roy Williams was asked about his experience in winning the NCAA Championship and then serving as a coach on the US Olympic team with fellow college coach Oliver Pernell. Roy also listed Gregg Popovich and called him one of the great coaches of all time. He went on to speak highly of Larry Brown, of course, and how he knew Larry wanted to stay in basketball in some way, whether coaching or in some other capacity.
Frankly, I'm tossed between who to trust. Roy or Sequ.

Roy Williams can blow me.
I don't think Coach Williams turns tricks, but you can always ask.
Hmm Roy Williams, or some guy with a pocket protector and the other the height that would rival mini me.
Who to trust, who to trust.
tpark can blow me also.
"Hey honey, what's that I smell baking in the kitchen?"
(from the other room) "Humble Pie, does it smell good?"
Pocket protector?Unless you're talking about me carrying condoms, I think you're a little off track, carny.
As to Roy, who can blame him? I'm sure he'd love to move up to the pros one day and Pop has said when Tim retires he's gone too.
