LeBron is not going to get traded or sign with a small market team...PERIOD!!!
Cleveland will be the smallest market team that he'll ever play for. I hope he plays his entire career.
I think the Spurs need try and make an offer for Lebron. I'm sure an offer of Beno, Barry and a first rounder will lure him over.![]()

No way would I give up Beno.
No, I'm sure they will trade him for what I suggested simply because a random person recommended it on an NBA forum. Lebron will be in the silver and black in no time.
I can already see it.
He would give us the play making and rebounding we need. It makes perfect sense.

I never even read past the LeBron to Spurs part. My bad.
Once Pop sees this thread, since he is an avid lurker, it will happen.
Like I give a what you read.
Am I the only who sees the humor here?
yes, the athletic and rebounding SF we've been waiting for !
I wonder how Ducks can handle both Manu and Lebron playing side by side!
no lebron should stay in cleveland
Don Harris is going to meltdown over the thought of the Spurs giving out Devin Brown's #23 and lead a crusade to ensure that no player will ever wear that number again.
I think that's the main reason this trade will never happen.
LeBron will be making too much money in 2008. No thanks.
I'm afraid his contract would eat up too much Capspace.
manu and james would never be on the same team
I would be shocked if spurs resign manu
Since ducks' objections are well-founded, why not offer Beno, Barry, and that first rounder to the Mavericks for Nowitzki -- just think, the Spurs really need a long guy who can play the 4 when they go small; other than the capspace issue, Dirk would seem to be a perfect fit. I think that's what the Spurs need to do.
no, Dirk can't play defense, and we'd be losing two good ballhandlers.
dirk would be much nicer then james
and dirk would not be in the way with duncan
and the refs love his flopping and calls fouls on the other teams
and james plays d?
Think Duncan would be ok coming off the bench as Dirk's backup?
he would move to center...
I think the Spurs can get both Lebron and Dirk if they are willing to give up Bonner and an additional 1st rounder.
