NEW YORK, January 13, 2007 -- Chicago Bulls forward Andres Nocioni has been suspended for one game without pay for elbowing New Jersey’s Mikki Moore in the head, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 7:00 remaining in the third period of the Bulls’ 86-83 loss to the Nets on Thursday at United Center. Nocioni will serve the suspension tonight when the Bulls take on the Memphis Grizzlies at United Center.

It wasn't an intentional elbow at all - I still don't like Nocioni's "toughness" where he comes in elbows out, but he got hit by Jefferson and his elbow was raised so he clocked Moore.
