    Pistons win sweepstakes, will sign Webber Tuesday

    Chris Webber is headed to Motown.

    Webber told ESPN.com that he has chosen to sign with the Detroit Pistons and is flying home Monday to spend Martin Luther King Day with family members.

    He can officially sign with the Pistons on Tuesday after clearing waivers at 2 p.m. ET...

    They had an open roster spot, so they don't have to release. As previously said, they are looking to trade a big man, preferably for a point guard or Bonzi.

    I see. I think Webber would have done better in LA, but that's just me.
