I could have sworn that I saw him fumble once against Texas during his freshman year.

He fumbled against Texas this year when one of the Griffins tagged him early in the game. Cold Pizza reporting cracker jack as usual...

was it a lost fumble, maybe they were referring to lost fumbles? although, they did say fumble...so they would be wrong about that.

    but was the fumble lost?

Yeah, it was a lost fumble. I remember thinking we dodged a bullet because they were driving pretty well with Peterson running up until that point. That was early in the game, so the ac ulation of Dos XX from the day at the Cotton Bowl had yet to take effect.

Hmm, I'd like to see the tape on that. I'm almost positive he fumbled when he was upended by Griffin resulting in a turnover.

It's at about the 1:15 mark - AP fumbles and UT recovers

good evidence. but i can't believe these people can't get stats right, it either happened or it didn't. its not hard ESPN....man thats ridiculous.

only thing i can think of, was the play reversed cause the t.u. players were out of bounds when they recovered or did the call stand and t.u. take over? cause it did look like Peterson fumbled before he was down.

No, it was a fumble and Texas got the ball. One of the 4 turnovers we got that day

also, can anyone tell what the Texas players are chanting in the entrance ramp at the very beginning of the clip? Just curious

Hard to fumble when you're sitting on the bench hurt.

Brady Quinn will probably go number 1 or 2. Hopefully Peterson falls to the Texans. They need an injury prone back to backup Dominick Davis, another injury prone back.

Quinn will be a career backup. Sean Salisbury reborn.

I don't see how Quinn with amount to much but Peterson has a shoot to be a decent back. Good size and decent speed.

seriously? Quinn has all of the skills to be a great nfl quarterback. Running backs are a lot easier to find late in the draft than quarterbacks, if there is a solid quarterback on the board you have to take them. To say you can't see how quinn will amount to much is insane, remember the guy won a lot of games without a defense he is going to be a solid quarterback.

there are like 3 brady quinns every year too, he won alot of games because he played 4 years against avg compe ion

  21. #21
Yeah, not really to high on any qbs in the draft this year, Russel has a great arm, but so-so decision making, Quinn couldnt ever win against good compe ion, Troy Smith just plain sucks, Zabransky is fast as but didnt get to see him play enough. I do like Brennan though, he seems tough, has moxy, and a deadly arm. I would definately like the Boys to try and get him in the 2nd or early 3rd round.

And if Peterson stays healthy, could be the next Larry Johnson. Anyone that watched him play through the years kows their is no way he ends up as the next Rashaam. One of his injurys wasnt even something teams will worry about. He missed 7 games this year and still had 1000 yards. How could any team that needs a rb pass this guy up
