Not that I go there anymore, but it's nice to know Texas State announced it tonight rather than waiting until 7 a.m. to cancel classes last ice storm.

In Austin, they interrupted Jeopardy to have a 30-minute special about the storm of the century of the year, with a host of preemptive closures.
TLU doesn't even started classes until the 17th. Suckers. But seriously, I hope y'all don't have to trudge through the weather, if in fact, it does get nasty.
No one is going to show up at UTSA tomorrow - people don't even go to class when it's raining, much less icy. Anyways, all you're missing the first day is getting the syllabus, so it's probably worth it to stay home and not drive on ice.
St. Mary's resumes classes on the 17th.

My kids are beside themselves because they won't have school tomorrow. They are in private school, but follow NISD closures...so there ya go!
General registration is tomorrow though which blows. Stupid St. Mary's and their weird f'ed up registration scheduling system.

Due to the weather, St. Mary's University will delay opening until Noon, Tuesday, January 16, however any further delays will be announced by 9 a.m.

Yeah, me too. I can't see the school districts waiting much longer to announce closings either, seeing as how conditions don't seem to be improving at all. Hope everyone stays safe and warm!
