By, answer, I'm not talking about AI.

Many feel we need to bring in that one missing piece, someone athletic, long, able to guard small-ball, a great defender and rebounder, possible Bowen replacement. For a while Maggette was a possibility (still is?). Some has suggested Lewis or Miles, hmm. A few experts have mentioned Kirilenko or Wells or others.

Okay, chime in with some real possibilities if you can find them.

Wells isn't long but he would be perfect for small ball and he is a rebounding beast.

    "Go yourself."

My answer is that the spurs have built a team relying on making a trade to get a guy that can stand outside the arch be ready to take the pass, drive and dunk or pass back to timmy and repeat. Right now they are overloaded with guys that can shoot the 3 ball decently but not drive consistantly without. Whatever it is they need a swingman if not they will be lucky to make it to the wcf.

But once they land this mystery player consider them back on top

The answer is that the Spurs are going to stick through it.

There is no player coming via trade who will save this team.

The Spurs have a plan and are going to try and execute it.

They believed they would be okay with Elson, Butler, Vaughn, Williams, and Bonner.

Of course the Spurs are going to stick through it. About the only thing they have to offer are expiring contracts...for expiring contracts. 2nd round exit. But at least Fiesta was fun. I guess.
