...Spurs win 60 games and make it to the Conference Finals, at which point we'll see. don't care if they trade anybody or not.
56-26. Not a grand cru vintage year, but not bad either. Out in 2nd round of playoffs.
We're winning the Finals, whether you like it or not.
I think they'll win 55 games. 58 if we get a good trade done.
No they are better than what they have shown so far they are only a year removed from a 63 win season and a bounce of the ball here or there and they beat Dallas in that series. Wasn't it in 03 when 20 games in everyone said the Spurs are rebuilding and not contenders and how did that season turn out. What did the Heat play last year maybe a month of great ball during the season. You heard the same about them they are too old and unathletic and they won the whole ing thing. All these Spurs fans jumping off the bandwagon right now is making me sick.

No trade=loss in first round.
No trade=50 game wins
I said only 55 when the season started and people thought I was crazy.
What's funny. When they changed the rules about the play-off seedings, I told someone-- What will happen is that the Spurs wil come second in their division, which would have meant the #4 seed, but because of the rule change, they will be the #3 seed and have to play Dallas again in the second round- with Phoenix the #1 seed.![]()
I'm not jumping off the bandwagon and don't think the Spurs need a major overhaul. However, I do think that this team isn't very good defensively and their bench is weak. And I think unless they make some (small) changes or something really drastic happens (someone has an out of this world playoff series), that they will get beat by the Suns or Mavs in the second round.
Spurs undefeated for the rest of the season.![]()
49-33 spurs are going to lose 7 games next month
One trade won't mean when the entire team, led by Tim, is playing like , like they never played together, no hustle, no defense, no RB, no fire, no desire.
A Maggette, who is said not to play defense, nor is Rodman-level rebonder, is gonna transform the Spurs from a 50-W/7th-seed mediocrity to a 4th seed contender? No ing way.
The mythical long/athletic 3 is far from the Spurs biggest problem.
The Spurs' primary problem is in their heads.
55-27.
Go fishing after the second round (in 6 games)
If a (nice) trade happens :
58-24. They win it all.
To match last season's 63 wins, the Spurs would have to go on a 35-6 run. Not too likely.
I'm gonna say 56-26, another second round playoff exit, this time to the Suns.
