Mavs talk is far from being the best Mavericks message board. In fact, it's the 3rd best.
What a bunch of immature rude teenagers. These homers on there only want people who praise the Mavs....if you are the least bit negative or don't agree with them then they single you out, ban you, and lock your threads. Funny thing is that I'm also a Mavs fan.
Gotta praise the people in charge here, this is a much better messageboard not that everyone didn't already know that. Spurs talk actually has good basketball discussion and not as much homerism.

my problem would be the trolls who come to the site just to try to rile ppl up over the internet. get serious. ppl who come to a board just to talk ish and not contribute to any of the discussions. or just to post topics to give their team too much praise, knowing full well that they are on another team's board and their comments will not be applauded.
dont act like spurstalk is so different. ppl are the same here too.
but i do agree the layout could be upgraded totally!!!! it's beyond time fareal...

haha, it's no different than that arizona suns site i was on last season during the playoffs. i got banned for politely criticizing something the suns were doing and one of the veteran suns posters had to stick up for me.
Suns fans are idiots.
BTW, whatever your thoughts as to Mavtalk, here is an example of why Amarelooms is ticked off because he can't understand why Mavs fans would get mad at the following (his posts during a game):

On to more important things: have no fear I'll be here tonight and do my part to help the Mavs win. Cuban will print off my comments and hand them to Avery at halftime, he will then rip their @$$es and make the necessary adjustments. It's happened all season long (after that 0-4 start the Mavs finally consulted yours truly) and will continue to do so....don't worry I don't mind and look forward to helping the Mavs get a W tonight. i havent visited Mavstalk in about 5yrs it is lame. I do most of my posting here on Spurstalk as I feel its better than any of the mavs boards. There is plenty of mavs talk on this board to go around
i just registered and thanks to that board i spent the last hour playing games in the arcade!!! as if i'm not already addicted to any kind of video game, this is the last thing i needed

This place is very NBA friendly and is very tolerant to trolls.
I love seeing all trash talking that takes place in the troll forum though.
It looks like most of the king fans adopted that place.
Mavtalk is the biggest Anti-Suns site I've seen in awhile. Almost all of the topics in their NBA Discussion forum are dedicated to proving why the Suns are inferior to the Mavericks. Why the does it matter?
The only thing that matters is that both teams are playing at an extremely high level (combined, they are 64-8 since starting out 1-8). It's only January and both teams seem to be improving as the season goes along, so it'll be a very interesting race to the #1 seed.
If you think either Dallas or Phoenix is just going to bend over and take it in the playoffs, you've got another thing coming. If those two teams meet in the postseason, it's going to 7 games, Period. Regardless of whether you think Dirk is a choker. Regardless of whether you think Phoenix doesn't play defense. Blanket statements like that do nothing to represent the true awesome abilities that these two teams have.
Oh, and one more thing... I think the Spurs are capable of beating either team in the playoffs. So don't sleep on them.

Dude, wtf? I went to Mavstalk and the posters aren't funny at all! I thought there were going to be a bunch of Henny Youngman's there or something. Talk about false advertising.
Yeah, I can't stand the Suns boards - those people don't even know how to type complete sentences or spell. And half of the girls' comments are how Raja is "hawt."
The real debates are on the Arizona Republic (newspaper) website, where this Mavs fan named "Lou" comes in and riles all the Suns fans up on a daily basis. Pretty much the same commentary that occurs here, so I don't feel the need to interject.
