that actually has nothing to do with the Mavericks. at all.
Dallas fans also thought the Cowboys were CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER at mid-season's point.....Hmmmm....Makes you wonder???

i'd rather play the cowboys in a seven game series than the mavs
Correct, I'm not referring to the Mavericks directly. Indirectly, yeah, someone might make that assumtion. I'm speaking about Dallas fans in general..
So did a lot of Spurs fans.
Haha...SHHHH....I didn't want to tell them that
Yup because thrashing teams like the bucaneers was a high point in the season...all the teams sucked except for the colts.
Dallas is last years Pistons, and the Suns are last years Spurs and we seem to act like last years Heat, because we dont feel like playing until the playoffs start.
True Spurs fans are anti-Dallas-everything.![]()
Not fair! As a hockey fan in Texas, I'm stuck with the Dallas Stars, who play the SAME FRICKIN' BUILDING!!!![]()

In the NBA most teams are just one key injury away from being an also-ran.
Nothing's final until that trophy is being hoisted, that's a big part of why I like this game...scratch that, why I LOVE THIS GAME!
Actually, the banners that hang in that building belong disproportionately to the Stars. It's almost funny to see that the Stars' banners run the length of the building on one side, while the 3 or 4 Mavericks' banners are barely noticeable on the other.
I guess, like all things, that might change too.
Colts finally defeat their arch nemesis, the Patriots.
Mavs finally defeat their arch nemesis, the Spurs.
Superbowl 41 shows two coaches who are friends, one the mentor to the other.
NBA Conference Finals will also have two coaches, one the mentor to the other?
Will the "underdog" once again beat its arch nemesis in the Finals?
Do they have a banner for Dirk's three-point shooting le?
Fuwk Dawllas and their Bwokeback owner.
We need a Holt's Cat vs. Pavlov's Dog battle blog.
