what we are seriously lacking is a pure scorer, like Tmac, or as much as we hate them VC or ray allen. guys who can catch fire at any given time to take us out of these 4-5 minute scoring droughts. in the end, its these scoring droughts that kill us.

oberto and elson would have made no difference when theres 3 potential allstars ending the game, that should do. Those 3 should step up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duncan did but no one else
this is why we need that reliable scoring threat. manu and parker are inconsistent. during the 3rd quarter the rockets went on a run and the spurs scoring drought put us in a 10 point hole.
dallas and phx both have reliable "i can catch fire at anytime" players. that is something the spurs are seriously lacking.

If we don't have the assets to get a Ray Allen or Vince Carter, it shouldn't be mentioned. And Magette is neither of them. Plus all their teams have losing records.
