Let's not get swept in the season by our first-round playoff opponent.

In the playoffs, we can expect Lamar to be back in game shape, Kwame to be back(he bothered/blocked Tim), and Bynum to have another half-season experience as a pro.

ie, the playoff Lakers will be tougher and more gelled than today's Lakers.

How tough are the Spurs? Solidly gelled? or Jell-o?

It's actually quite suprising how good the Lakers really are. They have managed to build some really good role players around Kobe and with his talent and PJ's coaching, they can easily take any team in the WC to 6 or 7 games. I think they lack the experience and have a few missing pieces still to make it to the Finals, IMO. But I am hoping they miraculously fall to 6th or 7th. I want Denver and the Lakers to play the Suns and Mavs in the first round to tire them out

Damn, is anyone watching the Suns game?

Lebron had a sweet drunk over Barbosa. Other than that, the Suns are looking very good. I think this is the season that their offense may just be that good enough to overcome it's bad defense. They have so many pure catch and shoot shooters are than team and have a pretty decent bench as well. I'm almost scared to watch them play against the Spurs on Wednesday.

Today would be a great chance to win in good fashion. Hopefully we can get a decent early lead AND NOT BLOW IT!

Suns only +4 after 3 qtrs. Watch the Suns keep hitting their shots in the 4th, as the Cavs fade and go cold. Pretty muc like the Mavs did last night vs Kings.

It was encouraging that the Spurs withstood the Grizz' furiously hot 3rd, and kept hitting in the 4th as the Grizz went cold.

30 minutes prior to tip. Time to prepare excuses for why the team gets smoked this afternoon. I'll start.

    1. Pop didn't start Jackie Butler.

A couple minutes later, Suns +12, biggest lead of the game. Like clockwork.

Come on Spurs!! IF the Spurs somehow manage to go 3-0 in their next three (Lakers, Jazz, and Suns) I can see as a turnaround in their season similiar to those back to back double OT wins in 2005.
