Win or lose, give me Tim Duncan any day over any other player in the NBA. He simply amazes me. He always has. I don't need flash or pizazz. Duncan's brilliance does it for me everytime. He makes a difference on both sides of the floor in every game he's in. I realize he has his bad games, but I'll even take those over anyone else. And when he plays like he has these last few games he simply knocks me out.

We need more play like this from him. 17 points 8 rebounds 1 assist won't really cut it

Tim's turning it on now in the second half of the season. He is absolutely unstoppable by anyone but himself and Pop. What's more impressive to me is how he's turning it on from all levels and not just in points. His rebounding, shot blocking, and assist numbers have been terrific during the last 5 or so games and I expect it to keep up.

Amen! TD is taking it to another level. Hopefully, this will kick the team into gear.

The only way that Timmy wins the MVP now is if the Spurs win like 25 in a row.

...and if the Suns decide to tank the rest of the season for Oden.

tim wont get mvp unless we take the number one spot in the league and duncan averages 25 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 blocks.

I've seen stranger things happen. Like D-Rob dropping 71 during the final game of the season to capture the scoring le. So, yeah, I wouldn't say it's out of the realm, but again he would have to do some pretty spectacular playing.

    "9 assists this game"

... is more impressive when your team is shooting 33% than 9 ASTs when your team is shooting 60%+

As ty as the Spurs' offense and shooting were, they still managed 21 AST on 32 FGs.

Missing so many shots, there were lots of RBs and the Spurs won 53 RB - 44, with 16 ORBs which lessened the pain of 33% FG.
