Was this a one time thing or will this be the way it is from now on?

I didn't catch the beginning of the game...was there a specific reason why he didn't start?

They won. It worked for tonight, why not keep trying it? Maybe after a few games Barry will gain confidence and start doing better. I say it, try anything at this point.

I'm sure this afternoon was great for Barry's confidence.

Pop usually does this for a shock effect. I think Manu will eventually make his way back into the starting lineup.

Take a look at Barry's stat line for the night. And you think it worked.

, Manu even sucked until late in the fourth.

why the barry always attack the basket and when he's near the rim he just kick it out to not-so-open teammate...it always pisses me off....just shoot the ball...

Barry sucked, but it was a big game so maybe that's to be expected.

Guessing how Pop thinks, it wouldn't be a shock to see Finley starting the next game.

I say whatever works. Whatever brins the W. Let him come off the bench for a while.

He probably should have gone with Finley today. We need some spark off the bench and Manu can provide that.

I would start Finley, just to reward him for saving our asses today. See what happens from there. My guess is that Gino will be starting soon again though.

Manu sucked today (other than that block he did at the end) so he wasn't much of a spark so start him again

The Spurs' bench has been outplayed by the Lakers' bench the first two game so Pop thought bringing Manu off the bench would provide a spark. That's all.

With the bench as is it is, you have to keep Manu coming off it.

Manu's shooting game along with Tony's were off at the wrong time for us, especially agains the Laker. The bench points actually kept our asses in it.

despite that, yeah he put up some solid numbers. He's streaky with his FG percentagae.

Today was an UGLY Spurs game.

before when Barry was starting instead of Manu it was to get him going. But Barry wasn't struggling so the move makes no sense. Now if Fin started, it would make more sense.

I wonder if Finley benefited from extra minutes with Manu? I say keep the way it was today. Don't change it.
