I think he means margin of victory.

Wow, they're moving this game to Lincoln? Odd, I thought Kansas would of wanted it kept at Phog Allen Fieldhouse.

    Kansas 65, Aggies 56 - though I hope I'm wrong.

no, it was a half-hearted joke in tribute to their strong defenses. but i do pick A&M by 1.

A&M will earn another stripe if they can hold it down in Lawrence. Its quite different playing in an atmophere where every fan isnt constantly giving horns down and the 'saw em off' hug-dance

It will be close, no doubt about that. Aggies will never be blown out, IMO. Their D and ugly ball always keeps the games close.

If Carter and JJ have great games, then Aggies can upset Kansas....so I am holding out hope that the Aggies can pull off the upset.

Didn't they lose by 15 to LSU? Is that considered a blow out?

I think it was 12 plus you have to account for the Big Baby cheat factor which makes it not a blow out. That loss pisses me off.

Yeah, it's made worse by the fact that LSU is tanking the season and our RPI is probably taking a hit... right CaptMike?

Big Baby is easy to figure out when the refs don't let him run over your players and call blocking fouls on them. There's a pretty big gap when 3 of A&M's big men ended up with 3 fouls apiece in the first half. Also, those kids were hitting outside shots when we doubled Big Baby and they really can't shoot all that well.

If the Ags treat Kansas like they did UCLA, it will be tight and lower scoring, and they should prevail because KU ain't that at that style of ball. But I think they might be overlooking Iowa State tonight, boys.

ISU's not anything special, but they're well coached and they have the personnel to spring an upset. That's the way this conference works. Even Colorado and Baylor seem to have the horses to pull one off.

Nobody's going 16-0 in the Dirty Dozen - especially with a big gmae on the horizon.

i agree with that assessment, though i am happy to say A&M didn't overlook iowa state...should be lots of fun on saturday night.

Ags take of the undercard tonight against ISU, 73-49. Three days til' A&M breaks the B12 South's 0-29 streak in Lawrence.

No dumass, it was a 5 pt game with less than 3 mins left. LSU made Fts down the stretch and we kept trying 3s....

sort of similar...A&M was up by 5 and couldn't hit ft's to put away tekk, so irritating. the earlier losses to lsu and ucla don't bother me as much as losing to tekk recently, i'd rather be 7-0 in the big 12. as i said in the other thread, part of me is happy t.u. worked them at home....

I don't know how that palm reading in the other thread considers a 2-pt loss to Tech in Lubbock where they just manhandled Kansas and they shot like 60% from 3pt range means A&M is "suspect." That's total bull . Who cares if Tech went into Missou and lost by 13? They beat 2 top-10 teams and they only beat A&M by 2 on a last second 3 and a few boneheaded A&M mistakes. John Hollinger says that the average home court advantage yields an extra 3.5 points per game, so the Ags still "beat the spread."

Who cares if ttek lost by 13 at Mizzou?
Let's look at this objectively. Mizzou is ranked around 80 in ANY site that you look at, but RPI has them at 76 (and that's AFTER they beat ttek - they were 83 before).
Let's say UT goes to South Carolina (77) and loses by 13.
KU goes to Winthrop (73) and loses by 13.
atm goes to LSU (79) and loses by 12. Oh wait, that happened.

It's a suck loss. And you know what? His accusation that "Texas A&M is a team of suspect accomplishment" takes on even more fact when UT goes in and manhandles ttek.

atm does not have a good win to add to their resume. OSU is a 25ish team at best. That is the extent of their accomplishments. The only othe Top 50 win they have is a 4-point home scare over K-frickin-State.

To say that ttek only beat atm on a last second 3-pointer either means you have a poor memory, didn't watch the game, or are a liar. atm lost because they couldn't stop fouling. ttek only made one field goal the last 10 minutes of the game; ONE bucket the last 10 minutes. The only bucket they hit was a 3 with a minute to go. They got 13 points off the free throw line.

All everyone is saying, is that to be considered a contender, they have to beat someone else hat could also be considered a contender. Unless you count OSU they haven't.
