Jesus Is Magic was about 1/4 as funny as it was hyped up to be. Hopefully she has good writers for the weekly show.

Her show in on the Xbox Live Marketplace... I think it's free, don't know if it's a whole episode or what because I haven't checked it out yet, but I saw it last night when I was on Live...
The pilot was disappointing - I got maybe three or four laughs out of it.
Silverman obviously has a good sense of humor but her writing isn't good; everything she does relies so heavily on her delivery that it becomes more freakshow than standup, particularly since the character naturally lends itself to the crudest and most repe ively boring kind of humor.
She has the talent to be almost as good as Carlin was, in my opinion - but that's only if she gets over the winsome-little-girl character shock tactic.
I don't know about that. Carlin's act isn't solely based on shock value like Silverman's act is. Carlin actually has some very intelligent humor. Silverman's act is the same thing every time and it gets tired fast.
looks horrible, the commercials i saw for it were so NOT funny that i was in a bad mood afterwards
Heard her interview on Howard last week. She says that she has to shave her legs up to about her thighs and she has to shave her toes too. She claims that's how Jimmy Kimmel came up with her nickname "monkey". Oh yeah, she masturbates to porn too!
Her show is funny as . Better than most that is out these days.
